Stawi officiated the commissioning of 20 trained Village Health Teams (VHTs) at Soono Health Centre III, after a four-week refresher training combining classroom sessions and supervised fieldwork.
The VHTs received certificates and kits and will strengthen referrals, immunisation and health-seeking behaviour. The District Health Officer commended the consortium for complementing government efforts.
