Carolyne Ariokot is a highly accomplished market systems development, financial inclusion, and program management specialist with over 15 years of experience designing and leading transformative initiatives across Uganda’s financial sector. Carolyne has designed and implemented strategic programs that expand access to finance for micro, small, and medium enterprises, particularly women- and youth-led businesses. She has successfully managed multi-million-dollar funds, led digital finance and financial inclusion initiatives, and built strong partnerships across government, development organizations, financial institutions, and private-sector stakeholders.
Carolyne holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Makerere Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Makerere University. She is a Certified Digital Finance Practitioner and has completed specialized professional training in digital finance, market systems development, gender-inclusive programming, and project management.
